EN ISO 20471 - Norm for HighVis Workwear
Class 1

This class ensures the lowest level of protection. The total fluorescent surface area shall be at least 0.14 m2 and
the reflective area shall be at least 0.1 m2. This class should only be used when there is little contact with vehicles or in slow traffic. with vehicles or in slow-moving traffic - like loading Areas, warehouses and tradefaires.

EN ISO 20471 - Norm for HighVis Workwear
Class 2

This class provides higher protection than class 1, especially during the day, at dusk and in fog. The
total fluorescent surface must be at least 0.5 m2 and the reflective surface must be at lest 0.13 m2. Class 2 is used in ports, railways, construction sites, car parks, heavy goods vehicles and wherever Class 3 is not required.

Class 3 

This class offers the highest protection. The total fluorescent surface must be at least 0.8 m2 and the reflective surface must be at least 0.2 m2. To be used in the near fast-moving traffic.
